BIO

Kim Spann is the founding principal attorney at Legal Spann. She started her legal career in 1985 doing high profile litigation for the Tennessee State Attorney General’s office. Since 2001, she has focused on commercial and residential real estate, advising small businesses, and estate planning and probate. She focuses on providing sound advice to her clients, planning for a client’s overall legal and financial goals, and giving assurance that their objectives are being met in an ethical, efficient manner. She enjoys legal presentations to groups and is currently an attorney with Five Star Title and continues to handle other legal matters through her firm.    

 

She is outside General Counsel to Greater Nashville Realtors and acts as a Qualified Intermediary for real estate investors who seek to defer capital gains on their real property transfers through a sister company, Asset Exchange 1031.

She serves on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition and is active in Breakfast Club of Nashville, a group of women professionals, as well as being a founding member of a local BNI group.
